Overview

The El Patio Theatre was built by prominent Tyrone businessman George C. Wilson, and opened in late June 1927. The auditorium interior was designed in the Atmospheric style and was “of Spanish effect”.

The theatre closed in early May 1960, became an appliance store, and was demolished in 1971.
