“Raiders of the Lost Ark” & “The Adaptation”

SECRET MOVIE CLUB presents part of our SUMMER SPEAKER series!

Tonight we kick off our Summer Speaker series at the Million Dollar Theatre. We are working to program a series of great movies with Q&As with the filmmakers who made them and/or inspired by them. We start with a double feature of the Indiana Jones all-time classic Raiders of the Lost Ark on 35mm followed by Raiders the Adaptation, the unbelievable near shot for shot remake a group of kids made in the 1980’s based on their love for the movie. And we cap off the night with a Q&A with the director of that adaptation, Eric Zala, who has made one of the most unbelievable movies of all time.

5pm: RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981, dir by Steven Spielberg, Paramount, 115mns, 35mm).

7:30pm RAIDERS THE ADAPTATION (1982-2014, dir by Eric Zala, Rolling Boulder Films, Digital presentation,100mns).

9:20pm Q&A with RAIDERS THE ADAPTATION director Eric Zala.

As of April 1, 2022, masks are now optional for indoor theater events if you’re fully vaccinated. Anyone without proof of vaccination will be required to wear a mask for their own safety. We will continue to update our protocols with the dynamic situation. We are working to make sure we make the theater going experience the most enjoyable and safest possible.

Tickets $14 - $24. Pre-order an all day $6 Grand Central Parking Lot Pass (while supplied last) online.
