Vintage Hollywood Walking Tour (12th October 2019, 10:30am)
This stroll down a lesser-known area of Hollywood Boulevard reveals some fascinating facts about Hollywood’s rise to fame as the center of the motion picture industry.
Learn the true story of Hollywood, from its founding in 1888, to becoming the home of the Walk of Fame, and everything in between. This tour usually includes a visit inside the currently shuttered Hollywood Pacific / Pacific Warner Theatre.
Highlights of this tour the famed Hollywood Boulevard include:
Entrance into one of the Boulevard’s lovely Art Deco buildings with a film noir setting inside
The first and most famous Hollywood movie theaters
Hollywood Boulevard’s oldest remaining home
The story of Hollywood’s first tourist attraction
Silent Film Locations
Tours run approximately 2 hours and are normally scheduled on Saturdays at 10:30am. Check website for details. Tickets $40.
