George Kadane was born in Baskinta, Lebanon. In later years he moved to New Orleans.

George went on to become an architect, operating in North Texas and Oklahoma, constructing buildings, highways, and railroads. In later years George returned to contracting work in Oklahoma and owned two movie threaters in Frederick and Altus, Oklahoma.

In 1935, George returned to Wichita Falls, where at least one of his siblings was based, to drill for oil. He remained there until his death in 1945.
