John P. Briggs

Born: 1868 (Accrington, Lancashire)

Died: 1944 (Polperro, Cornwall)

John Priestly Briggs was born in Accrington, Lancashire on 11th September 1868. He worked in the practice headed by the theatre architect Frank Matcham before starting his own architectural firm by the start of the 1900s.

Briggs married Florence Jane Watson in 1903. He died on 10th July 1944 in Polperro, Cornwall.
